Oculoplastic Consultants of the Carolinas Is Joining Wilmington Eye

We are excited to announce that, effective January 4th 2021, Oculoplastic Consultants of the Carolinas will be joining Wilmington Eye, the area’s largest and most comprehensive ophthalmology practice!

Since our founding in 2014, Oculoplastic Consultants of the Carolinas has focused on offering exceptional specialty care with an emphasis on oculoplastic surgery and other restorative procedures related to the eyelids and the tissues surrounding the eyes. Through the years, we have grown to be one of the most established specialty practices in the community. Without the trust of you, our patient, we would not have been able to achieve this. For that, we are sincerely grateful.

As we continue to seek ways to improve the patient experience and strive to provide exceptional specialty care, we have decided to join Wilmington Eye in order to offer patients an expanded suite of specialty services. This expanded oculoplastic offering will give patients more flexibility in scheduling appointments, access to a wider range of oculoplastic and ophthalmic services, and access to multiple experienced providers. For patients diagnosed with ophthalmic conditions that require management from a trained expert, we will now be able to provide that essential care, thanks to the specialized, board-certified ophthalmologists of Wilmington Eye.

Patients can also expect smoother business operations, including quicker access to medical billing and records, patient services, and a full suite of support from Wilmington Eye’s established team.

Our two practices have many similarities that will make this transition seamless for our patients. We both believe that exceptional patient care should be at the forefront of everything we do. Because of this, our patients will see a strengthened commitment to exceptional patient care. Both of our practices are also committed to a culture of excellence, which means that patients can be assured that they will be getting the best possible care.

Should you need additional services or would like to refer someone to us, you can still do so. It would be greatly appreciated. Please call 910.763.3601 or visit wilmingtoneye.com/Make-An-Appointment to schedule an appointment online. You can ask for Dr. Escaravage or Tracey McKinzie by name.

We will continue to see patients out of our building located at 1025 Medical Center Drive, Suite 201. We will also be seeing patients out of Wilmington Eye’s 4 locations throughout Wilmington and southeastern North Carolina.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership. We look forward to the future, the exciting changes this acquisition will bring, and the opportunity to continue to serve you.
